This team is actively involved in numerous research protocols at the European (FP7 / Era-net Neuron), national (STIC / PHRC) or loco-regional (LabEx Brain) levels. Some of them are primarily organized in the field of major depression through the identification of biological risk factors for treatment resistance with a particular interest devoted to the role of inflammatory processes. The integration of this team into the NutriNeuro Laboratory will aim at strengthening the existing links between clinicians and researchers in order to better understand the impact of inflammation on the cognitive and emotional disturbances in major depression and to determine the specifically involved enzymatic and molecular mechanisms. Nutritional aspects will receive special attention for the further development of personalized therapeutic strategies, as a function of the inflammatory profile of the targeted depressed patients.
