A recruitment compain at INRAE as an open competition for positions as research scientists.

This recruitment campaign is aimed principally at researchers at the beginning of their careers who have already shown their ability to produce research of excellence under supervision, attested by high-level publications. You must be prepared to work independently and propose an ambitious research project in INRAE’s main areas of research: Agriculture, Food, Environment.

Applicants will be selected on the basis of their level of expertise and the suitability of their CV with the ambition of the project they have developed in collaboration with the research unit in which they are applying. MycSA is an INRAE research lab located in Bordeaux, France, which aims to implement multidisciplinary approaches in biology (genomics, genetics, epigenomics, metabolomics, fungal and microbial ecology) to decipher the regulation of the mechanisms of mycotoxin biosynthesis and to understand their accumulation throughout the food and feed chain of cereals ans maize.

The research project to be set up together (you and the MycSA’s team) will be on the effects of biotic interactions on the accumulation of mycotoxins by placing a Fusarium species within the microbial communities to which it belongs during the different stages of its life cycle, and by deciphering how the functioning of these communities is able to modulate the level of plant infection by the fungi, as well as the level and the profiles of mycotoxins.
