Résumé:

The objective of the VITES QUALITAS project is to improve the competitiveness of the wine sector in the POCTEFA territory, by increasing the longevity of the vineyards, as well as their productivity and quality through the implementation of R&D and transfer activities in plant production techniques and pruning techniques.

The project carries out R&D activities to promote INNOVATION in POCTEFA’s viticulture sector with the objective of improving its economical profitability and competitiveness. The project’s main goal is to increase grapevine longevity by identifying and transferring good practices and methodologies of (i) grafting, (ii) quality assessment of plants, (iii) nursery conditions and (iv) pruning techniques. VITES QUALITAS stablishes cooperation and synergies between Universities, Research Centres and companies; to transfer its R&D results to viticultural sector.
