THEMES DE RECHERCHE

Notre équipe dispose d’un savoir-faire et d’une expertise reconnue s’agissant des viroses des arbres fruitiers. Nos travaux visent à la fois à une meilleure connaissance des virus infectant ces plantes (ou d’autres plantes hôtes, souvent dans le cadre de collaborations) et au développement de nouvelles approches pour la mise en évidence, la caractérisation, la détection et l’étude de la diversité d’agents viraux. Un développement récent concerne l’utilisation des nouvelles techniques de séquençage très haut débit, tant pour le diagnostic et l’étiologie virale que pour la description du métagénome phytoviral.
